Frequently Asked
Questions
It
appears that some of your items are already decorated. Do your products
come pre-decorated?
Yes, our Christmas items come decorated as shown in our online
shop. We also, however, have accessory items available that may
enhance a product's appearance (batteries are not included with lights,
and accessory items are available only with the purchase of wreath or
decorative item). See photos on this page for ways to further decorate
your wreaths. Also, Northwestwreaths.com discourages using an open flame
in conjunction with greenery, due to its flammable nature.
When
& how will you ship my product?
Your order will be packaged in a protective shipping box, and shipped
through Federal Express Ground, 3-day Express Saver, 2nd day, or overnight service (you choose).
Orders received before 12:00pm (PST) on business days will be shipped
within 48 hours, Monday through Friday. For standard delivery to Alaska
and Hawaii, please allow 3 additional days. We do not ship Foreign/APO/FPO.
What
are the shipping costs for my order?
Shipping costs will be calculated by your location and the shipping
options that you specify. Orders being shipped to the east coast will
not have the option of being shipped via FedEx ground since most of
the products are perishable.
What
form of payment do you accept?
For your convenience, you may use any major credit card--including Visa,
MasterCard, American Express, and Discover--on our online secure order
form.
Will my name and contact
information be used on a mailing list or sold to another company?
No, we will not send you anything other than your order without your
permission. If you would like us to alert you by email when it's time
to purchase next year's holiday wreaths or centerpieces, you may indicate
that when ordering.
What are your items made
from?
Most of our products are made from noble fir, which is the most durable
of the greens, and is used as a base for all our other products. Cedar,
pine, blue-berried juniper, ponderosa cones, and other natural products
are combined to enhance and add fragrance to our products.
How long will your products
last?
Christmas greens are a perishable product, so your geographical location
will determine your order's longevity. The cooler the climate, the longer
your product will survive. Also, your order will last longer if displayed
outdoors, as opposed to indoors. Misting your wreath or centerpiece
with water will also lengthen its life, as will keeping it out of direct
sunlight. If handled properly, your greens should last through the holiday
season.
When do I need to order
so that I receive my product by Christmas?
We start shipping orders November 14th, and the last day to order and
still receive your product by Christmas is December 21st.
About Our Products
Our Pacific Northwest
Christmas items, made fresh to order, are exotically aromatic with the
smell of noble fir and the deep, woodsy scent of cedar. All our lush
foliage, rich in color, is harvested from the great Pacific Northwest
and hand assembled into beautiful decorator items. The fresh aroma of
our products is a wonderful reminder that the holiday season is upon
you.
We are sensitive
to our surroundings, with environmental concerns at the forefront of
our harvesting operation. In fact, we never cut down a tree. Our Northwest
wreath boughs are selectively pruned from trees using long cutting poles
so that we maintain a sustain-yield harvest for years to come. We only
harvest forest products we can use, and any waste material is ground
into mulch for ground cover.
